Default Mystery Wire

Hey guys was hoping you all could help ID this wire for me. I did not unplug it while working under the hood and it seemingly appeared from no where. Any help or snarky comments are always appreciated.

I can't tell if that's blue or green. Judging by your pic, it appears you're on the driver's side fender. Does your car have A/C? It appears it's either a shared ground or power, or a pig tail to the A/C compressor. What color is the wire, you might have to clean it?

Wire is green. I do have A/C but it doesn't work the fan works but I don't get any cold air from the vents. I really haven't looked much at the A/C system yet. Focusing on doing mechanical upgrades at the moment.

The only green wire I see in the wiring diagram for the engine compt goes to the windshield washer pump motor

Looks like there is a black wire coming from A/C compressor to the rest of the harness, its tied in with the temp sensor wire and the hot lead for the coil. The green wire has an inline fuse and also goes to the rest of the harness along the firewall. hope this helps.

JLG is right, that's the windsheild washer motor, small motor on the fender that your fluid res connects to... green to one connector, black (ground) on the other connector.
