Default Hood

hello guys, i got mustang 1965 coupe, used to have 289 engine and upgraded it to 347/450 hp, got it shipped from the state i live in dubai, United arab emirates, but after installing it i found out the carburetor filter slightly high for the hood to close, and i got the orignal metal hood currently, so i was looking for a hood scoop that can fit ok, i searched the net and i bought a single scoop but was not wide enough, i gotta have one like the shelby 67 hood scoop i couldnt find online, i get my stuff usually from ebay search and cjpony or dallasmustang and get it shipped to me but they dont have it any one knows somewhere i can buy it from ? and they can ship it to dubai ? or any one have another idea ?

Hey Mate,
Welcome! Can you provide a pic of what you're dealing with?

Sorry Mate, I was looking for a pic of your carbie and intake, so as , to see why you needed the extra height on your hood. That hood your ordered(?) is nice though.
Good Luck with your project.

You can probably find a different air filter that will allow you to retain the stock hood. A 347 shouldn't really be any taller than a 302. What intake and carburetor do you have?
