Default 351W swap ????'s

In the newspaper i saw an add for a 351W and tranny for $225. I currently have a 1969 coupe 302 that needs a rebuild. I called the guy and he said that the 351W has 80,000 miles on it and is in its original car a 1978 ford van. I was wondering if i did purchase the 351w if it would be an easy swap into my 69 coupe. The tranny on the van is probably an automatic so i would probably have to get a new tranny for the 351w. I am going to go look at it tomorrow so that could decide if i even buy it. Justed wanted to get your advice on what would be best. Both will probably need a rebuild.

Thanks

I bet it's a small block C6 tranny. Great heavy duty trans but will rob horse power form the engine.

Didn't they put 351W truck engines in vans? If so, I believe that engine has a different code than one that came from a car.
