OMIGOD, I LOVE his cold air intake. lol, that looks like the plastic piping you bury in the ground as drain pipes.

It pobably is Charles, but it is better than than the snorkel air. Obviously, he needs to go with a K&N system , but this is better than the snorkle sucking in engine heat. Don't you agree?

Ya have to be careful how low you mount your cold air intake... a friend of mine has a 97 Eclipse (yuck) that he put an AEM cold air intake on. A few weeks ago, he was driving after some rain and went through a puddle. Engine sucked up a bunch of water which went into the cylinders and broke his crank shaft in half.
Moral of that story: dont' mount your intake too low to the ground... or drive a rice rocket.

This happened to my friends Honda Accord Wagona few years ago. Needless to say, it's still in pieces.
