Resolved issues this week.
Well, it's been a pretty productive week eliminating some annoying issues.
1 - I took my car in to get what I thought was a 600-700 dollar c4 rebuild. The guy called me back an hour after I dropped the car off and said, "cars done". Huh?He said a vacuum hose was crimped and was the problem to all of my transmission issues. I said "how much is it going to be?". He said "5 bucks". I told hom that I will definitely be back when I do need a rebuild. Very refreshing having a business being so honest and resonable.
2 - Car was stalling when I would turn the lights on and the lights and amp meter were going crazy. A 60.00 rebuilt correct alternator, repainted mounting brackets, a couple of correct Ford belts and pulleys and a 9.99 electronic voltage regulator. Car responds much better, no stalling, the lights don't flicker and the amp meter stays in one position. Hot damn! The shop where I got the alternator said that the car was basically running off the battery when It was in gear and turning the lights on was pulling too much power.
My suggestion to anyone having electrical issues... get your alternator tested and if you don't have points, buy a cheap electronic v. regulator. It beats the hell out of the 35.00 original type Autolite that I had in it.

You are lucky to not have body issues, just mechanical and electrical. Those are the cheap things. You got a bunch of votes in the ROM contest. Maybe next time.

minor panel fit issues but nothing major.
I wouldn't say a bunch, but it was fun being involved nonetheless.
