Quick background: so I had to sell my '88 back in 2009 for a mini-van. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had to trade their project in for family. I'm at the point now though where I can have an extra car and I want to own a mustang again.

I found a seller of a 1973, nice looking exterior almost ready for paint. Interior looks like hell but everything functions. The engine was swapped out for the 5.0 liter. Has anyone seen this swap before? It currently doesnt run but I am told that the engine and trans are sound they just need hooked up and it needs a new ignition. The price is low enough to consider as long as I'm not setting myself up for disaster. Any thoughts, comments, or advice would be appreciated.
