Default Running rough... HELP!

Sup Guys... I have a 73 stang. pretty solid ride... anyway.. here's what's up. I recently got 3.80's put in the rear. Car ran smooth before, but now I'm getting a pretty solid vibration through the car once i'm over 3 grand (estimate.. no tach ... ) Any idea what could cause this? I figured something is out of balance... I'm thinking the main pulley is my culprit' when the car is idle it looks like it has a slight wobble.. then again I don't know a whole lot about internals... (yet) Just looking for some ideas... thx to all...

Keep the OG's runnin!

Automatic or manual transmission? And, did this just now start when you put in the new gears?

Automatic Transmission - C-4

Vibration started after the gears were installed. My buddy tweaked the carb.. now i have a really high idle as well, could this be related?

OK, what is vibrating? The whole car at 3K? Can you hear any whining from the rear? Did you put the gears in, or did someone else?
Check the motor mounts to see if one is broken. Check your U-Joints to see if one is worn out and loose. Try to isolate where the vibration is coming from.

Ok.. i suck at describing the problem . sorry

The whole car is vibrating. I didn't put the gears in, friend did, but he's a damn good mechanic. Can't tell where the vibration is coming from, feels like the motor. I'm not to sure. going to bring the car back to him tomorrow to check it out. I'll have him check the motor mounts and U joints..

I had issues with the harmonic balancer back in the day.. I broke it... idk how, it just happened - broke in 3 places, on a stock 302

Sorry about the lack of detail, i don't work on my own car too much. Don't have the know how or the tools.
Want them though, that's why i'm here asking questions
