Since we were talking about Mustang Sally and all the guys who have performed it, it got me curious about all the songs about Mustangs there were out there. Great site, but I couldn't find a single reference to "A Man and a Woman," the oscar-winning French movie from 1966 (I think) that stars a Mustang (winning the Tour de France road rally, as it really did from 64 to 66) as much as it does lovers Jean Louis Trintingant and Anouk Amee (not sure on those spellings). Plus the lead male character races the Mustang coupe and a Ford GT but drives a red convert for fun. My wife beat me up over buying that movie off Amazon for $26. Sappy love story, but still worth it for the scene where the GT is running high on an oval test track and the Mustang comes in from off screen, low on the track, and they run parallel for a few laps. Catchy title song does get annoying very quickly.
