Default Rocker Moldings

What are the differences between 67/68 rocker moldings and 70?

I have a late 69 with what someone has told me are 70 rocker moldings. They look like pictures of 67/68 moldings that are in the catalogs.

I am wondering if I should order the 67/68 or get these polished out. They are pretty pitted and repops are pretty cheap.

What I dont want are some 67/68 rockers that wont fit on my car for some reason.

Possibly you might have to do some mods before you can fit those. Lets hope that it would be possible to do that..

They were already on the car. I'm trying to determine if these are off of a 67/68 or if they from a 70. This is a late production car so I am guessing that they were added by the dealer or maybe even from the factory with these rocker moldings. I have bolt in glass which didnt come out until the 70 model.

Let me go take a picture of mine. I still have my rocker moldings from my 67.

Just my .02 worth here, but I haven't been impressed with any repop bright work I've gotten as compared to the factory originals. I'd try and salvage the factory pieces if at all possible.

Thanks for the pics. Those look really similar to mine. I have read some negative posts about those repop moldings not fitting correctly as well. I think I will check into getting them polished.
