Default Do I need to remove my cowl?

Hi, question for all. I am doing a restomod on my '65 Coupe. Do I need to remove and replace the cowl to paint the inside of the cowl? It appears to be pretty good inside, dirty but no major rust!
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!!

Actually, no, you can come in through the drains at the passenger and drivers side. Do a very close inspection from the underside to insure the hats are sealed and no pin holes. Another option is to cut the sides off the cowl to free up space to reseal the inside. This is what I did on my 66.

Would you have any pictures of that?

+1 to coming up from the inside. My cowl was pretty solid so I fashioned a paint brush with a 180 degree handle, like a U, an painted the outside of the hats and whatever else I could get at, from the inside. I just slathered it everywhere I could.
