seeing how that car is very light i think a t5z (5 speed) Conversion from moderndriveline would be nice or I would recommend using a tko600 (5 speed) or t56 (6 speed) manual transmission on the down side of this you will have to cut up the transmission tunnel in order to accommodate the larger manual transmission.

17K for the motor? I built mine for 6k and I'm roughly around 450hp at the crank, but Im assuming freight and shipping cost is why it was so expensive for you or unless, you bought the car for 17k.

 

Nice....I also retract my previous horsepower remark. I did not know you had the engine built I thought perhaps the previous owner claimed it was 450hp.

But yes 17k for that motor seems quite high I would guess its because of your location and issues getting parts perhaps
