Hey, I'm new to the forum and had a question I figured one of you could answer. On my 65 mustang the key switch has AC-OFF-ON-START positions for the key. When I turn the key from of to on the starter turns over and when I turn it to START it continues to turn over. My problem is that it shouldnt start until the START position because the was it is now when you start the car drive it, it continues to turn over the starter. Anybody know what to do?
Check the wiring on the starter relay. The red/blue wire should be on the "S" terminal (nearest the battery cable connection) and the brown wire should be on the "I" terminal (nearest the starter cable connection).
