vacuum advance

Default vacuum advance

does anyone know what the vacuum should be at on a fairly stock 302, mine is around 12 not sure what it should be thank you

hi;

unplug your dist vacuum, rev the engine up and see how much total advance you have. it should be around 28 - 32. this will help us guess at your vacuum.

manifold full vac reading should be in the 15s to 17s as in inches of mercury (InHg)

Vac advance should be around 10 deg above 10 or 15 InHg.
