I don't even know where you can buy a door window. I suppose there are places that sell those old windows, but I can't find them. You would probably have to get one out of a junk yard, and how many junk yards still have 68 mustangs in them? They will most likely have to be custom made by a car glass company, and that would run into mucho buckos. Like I said, this salesman seems to be a shyster by not having the car running and not replacing the windows. It sounds like he is asking a premium price for the car and is not willing to back his sale. Undercoating is a no no on these old cars. Old hard undercoating tends to turn loose and traps water, and water and steel equal rust. The first thing you would have to do is scrape all that crap off and red oxide it, even if the metal is in perfect condition, and that is a Huge undertaking. Run away......don't walk.

Look on ebay. You search for cars in your area. Good luck

Well guys, today, I decided to not get the 69 fastback. Im depressed but ill get over it. BUT, I will be getting my dads 1991 5.0 convertible mustang. At least with that car, I know the history of it and has been well maintained. I know its nothing like a classic car, but I guess I'll just have to wait for that time. I do plan on building this mustang though. So I'll be around the forum.

Thanks
