I picked up the Mustang and drove her today to see how she handled. She felt better/more responsive than before. There is still some hesitation when I hit the gas but I have an electric ignition system that I plan to install this weekend which will hopefully help more. The only bad hesitation is when I go around a corner and try to accelerate out of the turn. She felt like she was about to stall out.

the electronic ignition will not do one single thing to reduce or eliminate a hesitation in you particular case guaranteed...period.

EXACTLY, what did they do at the shop related to running issues?

So he said it runs great because it has a hesitation?

Incorrect float level…set it to 1/2”

floor it HARD from as dead stop and tell us if it hesitates?

YES! It sounds like he wants to see if you're born yesterday and willingly request to get hosed funding his retirement.

Looks like this guy is about 50 years old... Replaced the coil and ignition with Pertronics. She starts up faster now I can say that for sure.

I bought and installed them. They look kinda hoopty but oh well. I was hoping these would fix my "door not closing" issue but it did not. Upon further inspection, the latch itself looks like it needs to be replaced. YAY!

also, never, ever, close a mustang door hard, they will break at the latch.

lol...yeah but it looks WAY better than your door latch laying on the ground and guess what . . that area can not be welded/repaired very easily.

that coil is probably worth $10.00 on ehay but i would keep it for a spare . . the std msd coils burn out occasionally . . the santi vibration ones don't just in case you bought either of these

You have me worried about my doors cracking now. My doors never close properly without slamming them... and they've been adjusted to the max

aftermarket door rubber is the number one cause of this because it is soo bleepin hard . . another is the door being too far forward.

you can put these in if there are no cracks yet . . they help a little but not a lot . . sorry that i couldn't find a bigger photo.
