8 Inch 3.0-1 rear differential unit
Hopefully this coming week I will be putting my new 8 inch 3.55-1 posi trac unit into my 68 Mustang.
Since I won't need it anymore. Do you think anybody on this forum would like to but it ? I do know it is very heavy and will cost $70 to ship it. I was thinking of asking $500 for it. It is not posi, but in excellent condition, having only about 600 miles on it since I bought it from a guy that partially restored my Mustang. It will be the complete unit ready to bolt in. Not just the gears.
Do you think $500 is a reasonable cost, or should I ask for more ?
And where should I post it in the forum ? I want it to go to a Mustang owner, since it is from a 68 Mustang.
If the id tag is on the rear end still I will include that also !
