Default Power Window Conversion

Hey All! I know this has been discussed before, but not recently (from what my search uncovered, anyway). I'm thinking about converting my windows to power and I'd love to hear from some others than have done it.

I'm wondering which kit is the best? I've seen a couple:
http://www.cjponyparts.com/power-win...966/p/65PWKBF/

http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/...ct_Code=FD40-K

For the most part, they cost the same (the more expensive one linked above includes 4 regulators vs. 2, and includes switches).

Anyone with experience have advice?

Another question is which switches to use. I like the idea of using the stock handles as switches, but then you can't control all four from the driver's seat (I know I'm lazy). The description in the CJ Pony link above also warns that if you use the button switches, you either have a hole in the door where the handle used to be, or I suppose you could just leave the handle crank there but non-functional.

My question is, why can't you just put the button switches in the place where the crank used to be?

Again, anyone tried this - or come up with another solution?

And I know there are purists who don't like the idea of power windows - but if you've seen my car, you know power windows are a relatively minor resto-mod for me!

I'm watching and waiting. This is the next thing I want to do. I am going to redo my interior after so I'm not worried about the hole issue

Several years ago I snagged the entire factory power window setup, switches, wiring, motors etc. out of a '71 coupe and made a small fortune off of it.

Nu-Relic is the only brand we install and sell. Electric Life doesn't have enough power at the top. If your planning on using your stock door panels they do make a switch that will go where the window crank was.

Thanks guys. I did some additional research too and I've decided Nu-Relic is the way to go. I'll let you know how they work once I get them installed.
