Default Door alignment

Anyone have any tips for aligning a door? I got the new one on and it sticks out about 3/8 to 1/2 at the rear where it meets the quarter. I tried loosening the hinges but it didn't work and I also pulled the door oin...no luck there either...any ideas???

i did most the alignment on my car, but never had the door stick out in the back...real quik is it a repo door? if so theres yuor problem. if not loosing the hinges is just the first part, you will need to move the door in a spot, tighten it, if its better or worse you keep adjusting. I believe the catcher for the door is adjustable, i know the strike plate is not...... huh i guess id have to see it really to tell you.

Measure from the door jamb to the outside of the quarter panel, then measure the width of the door at that point. The door just may be a tad thicker, so won't fit. Yeah, the striker plate is not adjustable, so if you have any room, you might try adjusting the latch itself. Make sure the front hinges are slightly loose while you are making these adjustments.
