Default Bright indicator and tail light issue

Hello all. I know electrical issue are common with these old cars but this one has me stumped. My mustang worked fine until a sent it to a buddy's body shop. Since it came back the radio and headlights don't work. Additionally the bright light indicator "red pony light"on the dash is on at all times. Also the parking taillights are on at all times. Brake and turn signals work fine. I replaced the headlight switch. No luck. Any thoughts? I have a new bright light dimmer switch on the way but I don't see how that would effect the tail lights. Thanks for any help!

I'd start chasing grounds- If they did work and didn't get the grounds cleaned up right then they might not be completing the circuit correctly.

oh, and ask the buddy what they changed :-)

I have slowly solved some issues but the ones confusing me are still and red pony light always on and a "parking taillight" always on. Grounds seem fine and if anything it seems that they are inappropriately getting power when the shouldn't. Both head light and dimmer switch have been changed I'm about to just rewire both systems back to their switches...

If you pull the connector from your dimmer switch, does the pony light still stay on?
