hey everyone,

i just bought my son a 93 mustang 2.3l and would like to know what to check next on the turn signals that don't work. i changed the flasher, no luck. would a burned bulb cause all of them not to work? i would also like to know what rpm this engine should idle? thanks for your help!

i just bought an 89 mustang lx 2.3l my blinkers dont work. i noticed no power from that spot in my fuse box, i crossed over a hotwire and it got warm started to melt so i think i got a short somewhere, check to see if there is power in the fuses if not buy or make a fused link wire and check it, if the fuse pops then yeah you might be in the same situation im in. a mechanic told me its probably my blinker switch. my flashers work but blinkers dont. good luck

mine stopped working a while back and i had to tighten the ground wires on the radiator support. it also might be the relay but im not sure

mine idles at about 1000ish

i think they are sposed to idle between 850 and 1000 mine fluxuated between 850 and 950

yeah ive heard as low as 750, but mine runs like *** that low, so i have to set it around 900-1000.

same. if it starts idling that low, it sounds like its struggling. after i give it some gas it tends to hover around 1k again. havnt had that issue in a while though.
