Does she drive the car to work daily or something? You could always adjust the choke so she doesnt have it stalling on her when she is driving it. People dont know carbs anymore, they think every car should run like an injected Tarus.

I used to live in an apartment complex and I have a rather loud drag car. It sits on the trailer unless I need the trailer to haul a club members broken pos. If I ever had to start it, I would wait untill early to mid afternoon so as not to bother anyone. Still I had people complain about it because I would start it, back up and drive on the trailer and it would be running for 30 seconds. mind you it did have mufflers and current tags, so it wasnt a full on open header rasp. Just low pitched and loud. Some people you just cant make happy because they arent car people. Maybe she is like my ex mother in law and just a complete spawn of satan evil witch. Could be, but soaring is right, gettin even like that is funny but not the best idea.

Right before I left to move up here, I did a smoky 110ft burn out with it around 4 pm on a friday. I was asked to never do that again by the management...lol..

 

I never said to get revenge. I said to get the police involved if its bad enough....this would probably include other neighbors...IF its really that bad. the way she goes about it is in my opinion worse than the revving itself actually.


why does she had to rev that thing every morning though??? why can she just start it and warm it up for a few minutes...what does the revving get an engine that starts up and is running? if she drives it everyday it shouldnt be such a weakly running motor??

 

i asked her that and she replied thats thats the way your supposed to warm up an old car (as if she really knows!) No she doesnt drive it everyday to work, just some days. I contacted the city, and they told me, i dont even need neighbors to sign a potition for her to stop, all i need to do is write a complaint and the city reviews it, and decides what action is to be taken. I got the forms filled out and am planning on sending them in, the only problem is, shell turn around and do the same for me, but at least i dont start mine at 7:00 in the morning. IDK this sucks....

Although it's pretty evil from what you've discribed about her, she had it coming. I have had horrible neighbors in the past and tried to deal with them politely but when do you draw the line? do you just keep being patient? I say if she had the nerve to come over and tell you off then she deserved it!

 

No, actually she had the nerve to come over to ask him to get her car started again.

 

NS i seriously could not believe she was at my front door asking me that, even worse though i still say was when i actually fixed it, her starting even more crap with me..... she needs to get laid BIG time
