Hi got a question, I am going to be working on a 1968 Mustang with an I6 and a manual and really want to do a swap/build. However I need to swap a bunch of parts including the rear end, drivetrain, suspension, etc and got an interesting offer. There is a 1973 (Or 72 cant remember) with a 302, manual that is complete and being parted out (Its a coup and its going to be destroyed no matter what because its been at a junkyard for years and the owners will only let it be parted out so I cant save it , its also pretty rotten. ). Can I swap the rear end, suspension components, Front end, engine, and transmission without much fuss into the vehicle (plan on rebuilding the engine before doing that and making it better). If anyone could give any advice on this and if its worth it or what parts should I take and put on and what shouldn't I that would really help me!!!

The engine, trans, rear axle and some of the parts should swap without too much difficulty. Not sure on the front suspension parts as I think those changed in 71. I'm sure others will have more info.

the trans may have a longer tail shaft than yours so check it out first.
