I have a 331 with a t5 and 3.73 gears. I lost oil pressure and it ate a cam bearing. I have the engine blown apart and am trying to decide on a new cam choice. I had a Ford motorsports x303 cam. It ran really good. It dynoed at 399 hp and 415 torque. I think because i have restricting heads. I have the trickflow 175cc fast as cast heads.
Should I stick with the same cam, or is there a better choice to increase the hp a little even if it costs some Tq.
I have the MSD atomic EFI as well and it was tuned really well.
