I changed the shifter shaft seals and now no up shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. Removed valve body again after finding I misaligned the kickdown leaver to the valve body. I tried adjusting the shifter linkage as instructed in shop manual. I removed the kickdown linkage incase that was keeping it in 2nd gear. What did I do wrong? Car shifted fine before, it just had leaks. I also removed extension housing to replace output shaft bearing. This is my first time working on a Ford transmission.
