RE: help building clone please
no not at all, 69 they re worked the whole car, and did not carry over any parts whatsoever. If your going for a 67 or 68 shelby, im sorry 69 shelby parts will in no way fit on little 67-8. No you will defrinetly need to get a 69 or 70 fastback or conv, and go from there.

Besides that a 351C/M will fit better in the 69/70 using 70 headers and mounts. Shoehorning one into a 67/68 would be even more expense on top of everything else.
Good luck with it, you're gonna need it.

Well if your going to be taking on this type of project, it wont be easy as it is. There is no perfect Mustang out there that isnt retored, they all have rust, they all have something wrog with them that makes them less than perfect, and i understand that your burned out with retoring, but truthfully, this is a hobby for the enthusiusts, the ones that dont mind getting there hands dirty, if your not willing to do so, i think youve lost your passion. You might as well just let a shop do it and be done with it, i dont mean to come off strong, its just that this is a big project, and if your unwilling to have a not so perfect car, than stop before you get ahead. You say you want to find a "good" unrusty unrestored 69-70 thats a decent price, its not out there, unless its been in a barn its whole life, good luck finding it
