Track Appearances?
What is it with this gay crap in your avatar 72mustangone99GT? Are you a gay woman? Pretty offensive avatar pic to be posting on an internet forum. It may be OK on the other sections, but offensive on the classic section.
ORIGINAL: Soaring
[Yeah, but Nick, your's is certainly not stock. You probably don't have too many part on your car that are original 40 year old parts. Your's has been built to drag.

Plus it was built for open track

my Mach was modified for racing on the open track before i got it. Lowering kit, heavy duty sway bar, heavy duty break system, roll cage and fuel cell (both were removed before i bought it, remanants of both though), a lot of the bolts were the original rusty ones but a good amount are replaced. i could probably take it dragging and not have too much to worry about. I plan to in the future at shows do a friendly race with a few other classics but never anything too competitive. I just want to see what she can do since we don't have old abondened and empty streets around here. got I-75...but thats not necessarily the brightest idea.

I'm dumping a bunch of work into my '66 convertible, and it will definitely see track time (1/4 mile and open track). That's the beauty of a Mustang. If you dent it up, you just buy new, or old, parts. There isn't much you can't find for these cars.
Now if I had a bazzilion dollar non-restored shelby, I might think about it... for about 30 seconds before I dropped the hammer.
BTW: who'se the sexy construction worker in that avitar? [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
Better change it back, this could be offensive to those who don't like the Village People
