Track Appearances?
Trying to get this thread back on track (Pardon the pun): I would like to run mine on the track. I still need to swap out the rear diff to something better. I think the 71 BOSS 351 ran something in the high 13s, so my goal would be to beat that....
I'm just trying to keep the classic section clean. The other sections are filled with sexy avatars and sig pics, and it shows the maturity level of those sections. If you want to go look at sexy women pictures, then download a **** site. This ain't one. As far as racing an original factory spec Mustang, I would hesitate, but if I had the modded cars you guys have, then I would not hesitate to drive the crap out of it, which includes track time.
Glen, you are right. The thong and cleavage thread is not very good for new members. MY mom has noticed the thread.
She doesnt like it, but i really dont even look at it. (maybe once or twice.

I can't control the other sections, but I can control the classic section. T&A is not allowed here. This is a family oriented site, and even though most of us can cuss and enjoy seeing scantily clad women with the best of them, this section is neither the time nor is it the place to display those graphic figures.

You are certainly welcome here with any input you may have regarding classic mustangs. I guess you have figured out that the rules are a bit different on the classic section than what you are used to on the other sections.
Anyway...
Yes I run everything I build/own down the track. Doesnt matter what its worth or how fast it is. I am more of a rodder/racer than a restorer, chalk marks and redlines are nice, but the thing was meant to be driven and usualy driven hard. Even the rare ones get a few passes on them, dont be an idiot, lift if you get sideways, and keep the rpm to a manageable level and you wont break anything.
Bracket racing or heads up is another thing altogether. You are going to break stuff.
