does anyone know if i can somehow trace the vin numbers to find out ness. info normally on door tag? the door tag is missing and i believe this to be a replaced door,front fender and hood. i would like to know the original color, engine, and other details. any help? please? thanx in advance............

 

as far as i know, the only factory vehicle references are the tag inside the driver's door and on the the front frame itself underneath the left fender, up top. the fender could be changed as much as it wants, the "warranty number" is on the frame itself UNDERNEATH the fender. but that number will only give you body style, birthdate and birthplace. the door tag is where all the real info is.
