Outstanding deal. I picked up my 68 for $3600. Ran it for a while on the 6 then traded my 78 nova (which I paid $1000) for an 84 stang. Just wanted the engine and crap out of it. I kinda got a nice deal cause after the swap, the guy I traded with was driving with a suspended license, got the car impounded, and never put it over in his name. He didnt have the money to pull it out so I got the car out of impound for $600 and sold it for $1200. Sold parts out of the 84 also... Another item of note on the swap. Take a look at the accelerator linkage and see if you need to pull the one (if it fits) out of the 69. My inline 6 had the linkage from the firewall to the carb on the passenger side where the V8 had the linkage on the driver side. Just one of the smaller headached I had to track down. Ended up having to fabricate a linkage to cable gas system though.
