OK guys i found what i was looking for in sound deadening material but my car is not in my position right now. it is at my high school so i can work on it. i need to know about how many square feet there are in the coupe area of my car. i need to know a very very close approximate number?

 

You should be able to call any mustang part supplier (NPD< KAR< Mustang Unlimited) and they could tell you.

 

what kind of sound deadening are you getting? i dealer with that stuff all the time and the best stuff i have found is from Second Skin audio. you could probaly call up the owner and hed be able to give you a pretty good idea on how much you need hes a sound deadener scientist pretty much.

That's what I used, works pretty good.

It's pretty cheap too.

 

fat mat and edead both use asphalt based mat where the second skin uses brutyl so it dosnt stink like tar and it has better heat resistant. go here and check it out http://www.secondskinaudio.com
