Guy i work with came across a 78(!) mustang boss 302, in that fugly green, auto with 78K on the clock. Runs perfect and in very nice original shape (nevada car). Where can i get a value on this thing if he is looking to sell it?

They made boss 302's in '78?

 

I'm not sure if it was a biss, but they did have Cobras

 

they didnt have 78 bosses, all im aware of is the ghia, the mach 1 and the cobra II

 

boss 302 was 1969/1970 and thats it. after that you could still however find a boss 351/429 but that was only till 73

 

Yes, this guy said "boss" and i couldnt find anything on one in 78, that would explain why. Jury still out on what it is. trying to get the vin.

 

Sounds like a fugazi to me....

 

didnt those come with like 90 horsepower or something ridiculous? i remember reading a car with that body style came with some extremely low amount like that.
