Default Rear seat Divider

Anyone have one of those rear seat dividers to stop gasoline from spraying on you before you incinerate?

Yeah, got a 3/8" sheet of plywood mounted to the enclosure opening. That should keep the fire burning long enough to BBQ a few extra burgers should the gas tank catch on fire!!! Seriously, the metal dividers are probably a good idea to avoid a well done rump roast...

Lol nice way of fixing that Cogtx! Ive got some homemade parts on mine too haha. I think someone should give us the dimensions of the factory one so I can make my own and save 100 bucks!

I have http://www.tankarmor.com

It also protects from puncturing from the inside.

Are there alternatives to protecting yourself from this problem? How do those fuel cells work? do they do the same thing?

thanks

The fuel cells work great, but a hellava lot more expensive than the steel wall. With some careful measurements, a man could make his own with a torch and welder.

Yes I was also looking at the tank armor. I figure a 9mm bullet wont go through it, everything else should be ok.

From my understanding a fuel cell is a metal tank with a rubber bladder inside of it, they are the safest thing out there
