Just take a piece of sturdy sheetmetal, cut out the deminsions of where the factory tank goes, screw her in place, and then mount your cell on top of it.

my trunk is all sheet metal, so ill be able to build the trunk floor around the cell. its only 10" tall and 20x18" (15 gallon).

my car is only going to look completely stock from the outside.

I got mine almost fully broken down so it would be extremely difficult to restore to original condition.

Hey, how about mounting some of this stuff on the back of the rear seat mounting? Mount it from inside the trunk..

Sounds like a lot of trouble just to retain some sort of original look. I guess the best way to avoid getting fried from the back is to not get hit from the rear. Whenever that truck comes bearing down on you, put her in gear and floor it.

The rear seat divider is gonna stop the scrapnel and flames long enough for you to get out. The Armor is gonna blow it all down, not in. Just get one of the 2.
