Default Dash panel replacement

Hey guys, I will be replacing my dash panels in my 67 this week. Anyone have experience with this? I will be replacing the bezel, mid panel and upper right panel above the glove compartment. Do I need to remove the dash pad? Anyone have a quick instruction?

Thanks!

the gauge cluster i hel in by screws (6 to be exact) so all you need to do there is remove the screws, and put a rag on the steering column becasue it will get sratched if you dont Once its off you will need to unscrew the speedo from the back as well as the winsield wiper switch harness, andtwo yellow wires and i think another groupe of harnessed wires. You will need to unbolt the metal section from the plastic cluster. Keep in mind that the new ones that are repoduced are not painted white on the backside, unless you want to have a hard time seeing at night, i highly suggest it. The center section is removed when you have the gauge cluster out, and once you pull the glove box out for the panel above that there are to washer like nuts that go over the nipples on the ends. However removing the radio bezel and radio would be much easier. Last but not least, the section above the glove box. Make this job supper easy by removing the plastic liner inside the door, and reach your hand up in there and like the center section, has the same washer like nuts, so by hand (the panels plastic so Ford didnt put the washers on to tight but just for S&G's use a 3/8 socket to help you out. )

Please make sure that you take your time and make sure all three sections line up as good as you can, nothing worse than a dash thats mis-alligned. And if i were you take a pic of the back section of the gauge cluster just so theres no confusion, even though one wire has to only go in one way[&:] good luck!!!

Also, FYI, you will have to unscrew the heater controls at the top as a lip of the guage bezel tucks undernieth, Also, you will need a small allen wrench to take off the **** at the end of the wiper switch to get the back apart from the bezel itself, also make sure that when you put yer glovebox back in that it latches tight, mine fell open for a while until i figured out how to adjust it. Also so you know to put the small side peice on the passengers side on before the large top peice, as there is a lip that tucks under like on the drivers side with the heater control. gta289 got the meat and taters of it, this is just little stuff.

Thank you for the detailed reply. While I have the gauge cluster out etc, is there anything I should do as preventative replacement. My dash light does not work. Maybe I should take a look at that while I'm back there? How bout the voltage regulator etc.? I was told that my dash light issue is a contact issue, not a bulb.
