Default The Newest Restoration Project

Hey Everybody!

Both My wife, Val, and I wanted to share with all you mustang fans out there our new project car. Some might have heard from us on the forum so far, asking about various hints. But here it is, the 66 Rustang. We'll be restoring it on the weekends and whenever possible. Pretty much all the work will be done by the both of us. We got the car at an auction for $1000. It is a 1966 Mustang with the 289 in it. It was abandoned and as you'll see, neglected too. We both have pretty good amounts of experience in working on cars. But still we would appreciate any help that you could give. Well, enough rambling on. Here it is.......The before pics.

Yeah, considering the condition of the car, it is in better shape than it could be. Ahh, but dont be too jealous. The power steering pump is seized up.

A lot of potential. I wish mine started out in that good of shape. I wonder what it is going to look like when you take off that paint, you may find more than you were looking for. Still looks like a good deal
