The padding may be a problem. If anything soaks up the oil and such, it's the padding. Mine is basically an outdoor carpet, but not the stiff plastic crap. And, there is no padding underneath.

yeah...not a bad point......there is a seam in the carpet which is positioned perfectly with one garage so i can just pull that part out i believe........hopefully....

I do have a fridge for beer in the shop - beats walking back into the house for a cold one. lol.

Shifty101easy - good luck takin' down that wall and getting a garage back. A man's got to have HIS space.

It's a funny thing. I grew up in CA and everybody had garages. Most are used for storage. In Alaska, where you need a garage the most, hardly anyone has one. I don't have one yet but when I do build one it will actually be a shop. Detatched from the house so I can bang on mustangs and not get yelled at. I also will have a crapper, refer keg, and a bedroom
