I'm going to wait 48hrs for the RTV to cure properly since it's been so cold.
I'm hoping for the best.

Well I put it all together, and ran it around a 1 mile block, and it started leaking again.

I have come to the conclusion that the timing cover is cracked or warped and needs to be replaced.

The most common problem with timing covers is warpage. Not much you can do but replace it. Now, don't have a mouth full of coca cola when the Ford place tells you the price, or you will spew it all over the clerk. Look for vendors such as this who also carry repops.

You might aswell change the timing chain while you are in there.
And since you're changing the timing chain, you might as well put a new cam into it, oh yeah, when replacing the cam you should always change the lifters. Now since you have that hot new cam, an intake manifold and new carb are in order....headers, rocker arms, valves $$$$$[sm=yikesomg.gif]

If only our wallets could keep up with our stangs!

Those things have been know to corrode from the inside out. I have fixed them with JB weld and it works great. If that is your problem and you need some advice let me know.
