Default electronic ignition

What are some of the more popular brands of electronic ignition setups on the market that some of you have used that are reliable, and I would like the distr. cap to look as original as possible. I am just tired of points and condensor. Thanks

Probably the most popular is the Pertronix. You keep the same distributor and coil, so unless someone takes the cap off the dizzy, no one will know you have electronic ignition.
Guys in the racing section usually talk about the MSD ignition system for more power. That may be true, but if you are just using your Mustang for street use, the Pertronix works well, and at a third of the cost of the MSD unit.

Yes, I have the pertronix, and you cant really tell that you have it. I would recomend to go ahead and buy the ignitor 2, with flamethrower 2 coil. More spark, so more power. I have heard that they aren't reliable though, but mine has been so far so good.

Avoid Mallory, they are real sensitive to voltage spikes...
