Default 331 Stroker

Hey all,
I looking into having Keith Craft building me a 331 stroker motor for the fastback, i was told that I might have a problem with my 4 speed z bar matching up
with a new 302 block is this true? Do I need to use an older 302 block to work with my 4 speed top loader? Help

Never mind, I found a bracket that you can use for the Z bar! I mounts the the bellhousing, this way you can use a New style block and a Top Loader.

Speaking of a stoker motor. My 67 came with a 289. Some friends back home build alot of 302 stoker motors and thats what they want me to go with.

So, whats a big difference between stroking a 302 block vs. a 289 block?

i think the 289 tends to be more flexible for modification but the mian difference is externally. if you get a picture of each you'd see it but its still a small difference. the biggest difference I've noticed is a different fuel pump
