Anybody use partstrain.com?
Soaring put up a link earlier to a site called partstrain.com. I got to looking thorugh that site and their prices are really low. I'm just wondering if anyone has used them? Were you happy with the products and the service? I'm looking specifically at sheet metal for my 67.
$187.00 for a 68' hood. not too bad at all. then u get to shipping.....120 bucks for shipping...sort of changes things eh? not that i need a hood...im just wondering if they keep initial prices low to get you hooked then shipping is inflated to make extra profit like a lot of these places do....
Hi, I'm a newbie here. My husband and I are restoring a 67 convertible. A ton of sheet metal so far....
We use Laurel Mountain Mustangs www.laurelmountainmustang.com. So far they've matched any price they haven't beat and they'll work with you on shipping (they split the cost with me on the sheet metal).
I did some comparison with PartsTrain.com... they are VERY pricey on their shipping and LMM was cheaper on most of the parts I was looking at anyway.

Hi Sandy,
Welcome to the Classic section of MF. Thank you very much for your information. That is the sort of thing we are looking for. Pull up a chair and stay awhile. You might enjoy gabbing about Mustangs with the guys and gals here.
