There are plenty of places to get a 302. How much can you spend on it? That is the main thing, the second is how much realistic power do you want, third would be is it a daily driver, a street strip ride, or a drag car? What kinda drivin will yo ube doing in it? Going to school or work, or just weekends out prowling for someone to embarass?

Check out Summitracing.com and jegs.com for starters.. I like Jegs better...

Then Coast High Performance, heard some good things about them too.

350hp from a 302 and still streetable is a tall order... look into a 347 if you want to go there...

Go for that GT40 345HP 302 from FRPP. That would be yer best bet. You would have a warranty and all the stuff is brand new and ready to go.

FRPP, jegs, and Summitracing all have a 302 - 345hp crate for 3395.00. If I ever needed an engine this would be it. Bolt it right up to my C4 and works fine w/my factory posi/trac-loc rear. No need to buy a new tranny and rear (but not sure what you have now though). More power than is ever needed in a 64-66. Just my 2 cents.

Happy Burnouts!
