Default How to get the rear back rest out?

Hey,

I havea 95 convert and am trying to get the rear seats out to find out what's wrong with my top motor. I can only get one of the release buttons on the bottom seat to go in (the other one is jammed) I have full hand access to the backrest by rotating the rear seat but can't see anything (any form of release) to get the back rest off... anyone share where the release for the backrest is? or how to get it off.

FYI 2 bolts at the bottom right and bottom left (10mm), I was able to rotate the bench with one stud still in.
