Rear power window motor

Default Rear power window motor

I have a 94 vert , how do I remove the rear trim pieces so I can replace the window motor ?

1st remove the door sill plate, it will pop right up. then you will have to remove the back seat. under the front of the bottom part there are 2 little tabs that you push and the seat will just pull out. then you will have to take out the 2 bolts at the bottom of the backrest and the backrest will lift up and out. then there are 3 little push pins that hold in the whole side panel, pull those out. there is one on the back of it, at the top, near the window. then the whole panel should pull out. the piece of rubber/felt that is next to the window on the inside just pulls up. i cant remember if you can get to the motor from there, but you may need to take a couple screws out of the speaker panel and it will pull out and yu can disconnect the wiring harness from it.

after you get all the panels and stuff off, the motor is just held in by 2 or 3 little bolts and pulls right out. not sure about putting in a new gear, i just replaced my whole motor.
