Default Vert top not going all the way down...

I haven't put the top down in a few weeks. So, when I put the top down today, I noticed the driver side isn't going all the way down. I have to physically push the top down. It seems very loose.

When I drive off though, it raises back up a few inches to the point I can't see behind me. I'll take pictures here in a few minutes.

My question: What's the warranty on the top? It's an 07', and I was going to swing it by Ford tomorrow and have them look at it. Is there anything I can do to correct this myself?

You're probably ok taking it to the dealer, my 2005 is still under warranty and I took it in last week because of a defective rivet that blew outand they are putting a whole new top assembly on, covered under the warranty completely, so it can't hurt to bring your's in for a look. I'm assuming it is still under warranty so they can probably take care of it for you.

I just got mine back today actually, if you want I can look at the work summary and see ifit hasthe part numbers for everything that was replaced. I don't know if that'll help you out any or not depending on what your mechanic/local dealership has to say. On an interesting side note, the guy at the dealership told me Ford only pays 50% of the normal labor costs, I thought it was interesting anyway. Gotta love that warranty though, saved me five thousand bucks!
