Default need help with 88 convertible

Got a 1988 mustang convertible. The back seat is saturated with oil that seems to have leaked for many years, thepump ( behind the back seat ) seems to have leaked and the two lift cylinders seem to be leaking too. What can be done to fix these leaks ?We plan to put new upolstry in this car and I want to fix these leaks.
Thanks alot

You need to check the lines leading from the pump to the cylinders and see if it is leaking from there. If not that the cylinders and or the pump are leaking and will need replacing.

If the lift cylinders are leaking from the top where the rod comes out then they are no good & have to be replaced. Remove the triangle nut on the left side of the pump & clean it out. Fill with atf where the rubber plug is. You will have to fill the reservior a few times as you make the top go up & down.
