Anybody put one of these bars in and the top where one of the cross braces goes itrests a little tight on top of the bar? I had to adjust my locks on the top to alleviate some stress on the top when up.

Further more had I realized the butchering involved with installing this bar I would have given up the look I thought I wanted to sacrifice cutting the car up to get this thing installed.

Now that its in, I like it, but I feel like I kicked a puppy after having my way with the car. Its looks like a clean install, but I know better....

So anybody have issues with the top hitting the bar?

 

You know....I have asked that question many times and everyone says no...you are the first one I've heard that says yes....

 

Mines an 02, but does yours touch as well? I even sat on top of the bar and tigthened it at the same time to get it down all the way, but it will only go as far as the trim allows.
