Driver door sag
I am going to look at 1967 convetible tonight.....the owner side the driver door sags. Is this normal or is this a big red flag. The rest of the car sounds good. Not a numbers matching car but it will be a start.
Any information will help I have been looking for a couple years. I want to make sure I don't get taken down the road.

Cars get door sag over time, the old fox bodies were real susceptible to it, dont know about the old old stangs, very likely. The door swinging open actually pulls at the metal that the door hinge is mounted to. sometimes it just has to be tightened up and realgined, sometimes it needs to be taken to a body shop to have some work done on the sheet metal. Any car thats 40 years old unless it has been barely driven or has had a complete resto is going to have all sorts of little things wrong with it. Cars are just money pits
My 91 doors did that - my brother owns a body shop and suggested all new pins and bushings in the door. That helped tremendously - they were just worn smooth out. Still needs some tweaking, but the sag is almost eliminated. Might wanna talk to a reliable body shop and see if that's the problem. *G*
