I have a 66 convertible and I am wanting to put some tri-y headers from mustangs unlimited or similar on there. Is there any clearance issues with the reinforcement plate under the transmission tunnel. The internet says will fit fastback/coupe but I am wondering what you guys are running surely someone out there has installed headers on a convertible.
