Default Foxbody 1/4 Windows

My 1/4 windows do not roll up or down, but I can hear the motors turning. I see a lot of foxbody's with the top down and the 1/4 windows up so I am sure this is a common problem. What parts generally wear out on those, or are they just off track? I'd like to know before I tear the thing down.

Since there isn't a whole lot out there on these windows, I'll document the progress of the repair.

Chris, where in Texas are you at? I live in Baytown.

Awesome. After I do mine then we can probably get together and do yours. I also need to do the top on mine.

I went a head and pulled the drivers side 1/4 motor... it works without pressure/tension on the gear, but as soon as I attach to window gear it wont spin. I spoke to a buddy of mine, he says it common and I can get a gear kit for the motor real cheap, I will let you know if I can find it. But a few friends of mine came over and installed my new top... WOW, it was interesting and fun, took 7 hours but learned a lot.

I have the same issue with my d/s door window. I can hear the motor working but the window wont move, I can, however, manually move it by push down or pulling up on the glass. Let me know what you replace if you can fix it, please.

I just bought a 93 LX & took the quarter windows out. Now cant get them back in LoL! Does anyome have a diagram of the components? The dumbass I had helping me took both them out & now we have nothing to go by reinstalling. The motor on LH was bad on mine, plus they didnt go all the way to the conv top.
