Default Shed some light.

I asked this question on General Tech, and got 46 views and no replies to date, maybe I will have better luck in here...

I have an '86 Mustang LX convertible and need to replace the 'belt moldings'...Can anyone tell me if the '86, and '87 doors are the same for that application?

looking at latemodelresto, and mustangs unlimited websites, they both only carry the molding for 87-93, so id assume that it would be a different part than the 79-86 cars. but then again, it could be the same part, but just a diff part number.
